Farm Powered - Opportunities for regional communities in the renewable energy boom
Farm Renewables Consulting is an Australian owned business, working out of the Central West NSW. Director, Karin Stark lives on a cotton and wheat farm in Narromine, giving her a first-hand perspective of the inherent energy challenges faced by farmers. Based on her own personal experience, Karin knows that energy is one of the agriculture sector’s fastest growing costs. That’s why she is passionate about helping farmers significantly reduce their costs and emissions, and build resilience by facilitating the adoption of on-farm renewables.
Karin has deep connections to regional Australia and is passionate about opportunities that revitalise
communities and local economies.
Karin has a background in Environmental Management and in the design, delivery and evaluation of community based social marketing programs. Being a passionate advocate in this area, she founded and convenes the National Renewables in Agriculture Conference and Expo.
Farm Renewables Consulting works with Government, community groups and private industry, on the premise that shared stories and lived experience is one of the best ways to create meaningful change.
